Encoding: We tend to receive information into our brains through the process of encoding which is considered as the input of information into the memory system. Storage: is when the information has been encoded and we have to retain it with the help of our brains who take the encoded information and place it in storage. Storage can be considered as the creation of a permanent record of information.
